I bought a summer outfit for running on ebay.
I swam 3 KM with the tri group yesterday.
We did a drill called 'zipper' which I found incredibly hard and also 'slide and glide'...
our workout looked like this:
1000 m w/fins
100 zipper
100 slide and glide
50 freestyle
1000 m pull
100 easy
100 medium
50 race pace
1000 m
100 free
50 back
50 breast
400 m cool down

Wow! That's a lot of swimming. I really should join a swim club. When I go to the pool I just add about 200m to my last swim, so I'm up to 1400m. Schedules and car sharing make it difficult to get to the pool, but I need to figure this out. You're doing awesome-going to be a tri-machine!!!
We car share too. I like this group because the hours are MTWT 8:30PM to 9:30PM (kids are in bed - perfect if I can make 1/2 practices) and Saturdays from 11:30 - 1PM (not so perfect for scheduling but it's the long swim with less emphasis on speed - I like it much better).
