I have not been in the pool this week. Triathlon group starts up again next week and I'm looking forward to a renewed energy in swimming. The same guy who lectured me on nutrition and 'hitting the wall' before attempting an ironman has offered to lend me his bike trainer. He called it 'ass time' and it will be perfect for those nights I can't go out because I am home with the children.
I'm feel a bit apprehensive about Coronation as it's my first triathlon altogether and I'm nervous about transitions and how my legs will feel. I'll try and work in some bricks in the next couple of weeks to get familiar with the feeling.
This weekend I'll be at my mother's in Red Deer and I will try and do a nice long run Sunday morning on my own.

Hey Jordan,
Definitely do some bricks. The first time is tough but it gets easier the more you do them. Don't worry about the race-the purpose of your first tri is to just "try" it out. There will be lots of first timers there. I'm not an expert on the subject, but I have done 3 triathlons so if you have any questions fire away.
