Element - Edmonton

Well. First let me say I bought a new bike

Second let me say since I bought it used I decided I had to get this baby professionally fitted.

Upon recommendations from friends I landed myself in a new multi-sport store in Edmonton; Element.

When I walked in I have to say it was an absolute shock to the system. The layout of the store is beautiful with the bikes on your left and an amazing assortment of clothing on your right. Infront of you is the sales counter, above it a giant television. It looked so well thought out, clean, bright and beautiful I instantly had a grin. Then I met Cam who did a FIST fitting for me. He really took his time and we talked about all things triathlon and bikes. He got me fitted and we had a laugh that the fit was so 'aggressive' for a woman. He invited me back after getting some miles in the saddle to fine tune the fit and get it just right.

I cannot say enough about the service there and I have to recommend to anyone entering multi-sport or currently in multi-sport if you haven't checked this place out yet: YOU NEED TO.

Now, for an update on training. It sucks. I am sick. When you're sick you just want to get better. So that's the training I'm doing right now. Getting better. I want to be able to run my 10km this weekend so I'll do what it takes (missing some swim and bike workouts) to get myself healthy for Sunday.

That's all for now :)
